Plays the game at a very fast pace and loves the open-ice hit. A great sniper, he has a hard, accurate shot and isn't afraid to unleash it. Can often change the course of the game with one shift.

Possesses an excellent combination of skill and physical play. Is an outstanding playmaker due to great vision. Also takes care of business in his own end. Can change the pace of a game with an eye-popping rush or a crunching hit.
His penchant for physical play has him often battling serious injuries. May need to play with less reckless abandon in order to prolong his career.

Displays the complete package along the blueline. Is an awesome one-on-one defender, has a great reach and can dish out punishing body checks. He's also an excellent power-play point man and born leader.
Has a tendency to take bad penalties and can get rattled by the opposition on occasion. Cannot dominate as much in the 'new' NHL.

Is extremely creative and capable of seeing the play develop in slow motion. Makes excellent decisions when passing and shooting. Has good speed and the hands of a legitimate NHL sniper.
His lack of size may prevent him from maintaining a standard of excellence for several more seasons.

Unleashes a lethal shot whenever parked in the slot area. Skates very well for a big man. Can still intimidate with his power/speed package when healthy.

Can be undisciplined at times and take foolish penalties. Has yet to come up big in the postseason. His mental game needs work.

Has tremendous size for the goaltending position. Possesses the ability to steal victories by himself. Is very athletic for a netminder.
Is still a little raw and needs more improvement on the fundamentals. Is perhaps too emotional at times, and must stay in control better.
